Terms & Conditions

We will always try to ensure delivery of your new vehicle by the estimated delivery date given to you. In many cases the vehicles can arrive early however where delay is caused by circumstances beyond our control we will not be held liable for any damages related to the delay. In these circumstances we will contact you and agree an alternative date for delivery. Should the vehicle fail to arrive with us from the dealer within 14 days of the agreed date unless otherwise agreed then you may cancel the contract in which case any deposit paid will be returned to you.
If the manufacturer of the vehicles described in the contract stops production of that vehicle, we may give you written notice to cancel the contract. Any deposit you have paid to us will be returned to you.
If you or your chosen finance company fail to pay for the vehicle once ordered and advised that the vehicle is ready then we may treat the contract as cancelled and keep any deposit paid by you.
The vehicle shall remain our property until we receive cleared funds. The risk in the goods passes to you when you take delivery.
If the vehicles are new, the following provisions shall have effect:
1. We undertake to ensure that the pre-delivery work (factory fitted) specified by the Manufacturer is carried out and that we will use our reasonable endeavours to obtain for you from the Manufacturer the benefit of any warranty or guarantee given by them to us.
2. If, after the date of this order and before delivery of the goods to you, the Manufacturer's recommended price for the vehicle is changed, we shall give notice of any change to you and if the Manufacturer's recommended price for the vehicle is increased you will be notified of the amount of the increase we intend to pass on to you. You have the right to cancel the contract within 14 days of receipt of this notification. If you do not cancel the contract the increase in price shall be added to and become part of the contract price.
If we arrange finance on your behalf we will not take a deposit from you until the finance has been approved by the finance company. If a deposit is paid prior to finance approval in order to secure a vehicle then it is the customers responsibility to secure their own finance if we at VanBrands are unable to do so. If finance can not be arranged by you (The Customer) then any deposit used to secure a vehicle will not be refunded. By giving us your Personal & or Business information you give us the permission to pass your information onto various finance companies in order to obtain finance on your behalf. We will endeavour to obtain finance from a minimum of two finance institutions on your behalf and if still unsuccsessful then we will contact you via telephone or email to see if you wish us to try more finance companies or institutions. The finance rates charged by each finance instution may vary depending on the degree of risk they feel exists by underwriting the deal on your behalf. If we are able to secure finance on your behalf but the terms of the finance & or the rate of the finance is different to that offered originally then we will discuss this with you to see if you wish to proceed under the new terms of the finance offered.
Our standard deposit is £500.00. All manufacturers' options must be paid for in advance with the initial deposit. VanBrandsDirect reserve the right to increase the deposit if a non standard vehicle is ordered (i.e. unusual colours or specifications.). All deposits both standard & non standard are non refundable if you decide not to proceed with the vehcile . If the customer is using our finance company then deposits will not be taken until finance has been approved. The customer shall agree to proceed with the vehicle by payment of the said deposit.
All prices quoted exclude VAT, Road Fund Licence . Delivery is included in most cases unless stated on order of the vehicle. A small charge may be taken by VanBrands if delivery is requested by the customer to a destination that is considered to be an excessive distance from the supplying dealer.
