A deposit of £500 is required to secure the vehicle, this may be paid by Debit card or by bank transfer. Vanbrands will then send you an email confirmation of the vehicle ordered along the pricing and delivery location. Any remaining deposit due on the vehicle if the vehicle is being financed, will be taken from the same card as the initial deposit unless stated otherwise by the customer prior to delivery. It is the customer’s responsibility to advise us if any further monies due are to be taken from a different card or are to be paid direct by the customer. VanBrands Direct take no responsibility for any charges that may be taken by individual customer card companies following the debit to their card number that was given to us by them.
If the vehicle is in stock, delivery is usually between 7/10 Days. Deliveries can sometimes be subject to change at short notice depending on the Manufacturer’s volume of deliveries, it is therefore recommended that that any additional extras you wish to add to the vehicle yourself such as signwriting etc is not booked or confirmed until the vehicle arrives so that you are not comitted to any exact dates to avoid any unecessary cancellation charges. VanBrands Direct cannot be held responsible for any cancellation charges or vehicle hire unless the vehicle is subject to a lengthy delay beyond the confirmed delivery date.
Factory Orders can change so an exact date cannot be given on order although an indication will be available to you on your order confirmation.

If you decide not to proceed with the purchase of a vehicle once ordered and deposit paid then please contact this office and we will process the cancellation and forward the paperwork to you for you to sign and return. On return of the paperwork a refund of deposit will be made to you.
You have 14 days from taking delivery of your vehicle to cancel the contract and return the vehicle to us. The vehicle was delivered to you at no charge to you so return to us to the address we require will be at the customers expense. A deduction will be taken from the amount paid for any usage of the vehicle since the day of delivery which will have the effect of reducing the price of the vehicle that was delivered. Mileage & condition for this purpose will be taken from the delivery company handover sheet.
We will make this refund to you within 14 days of return of the goods to ourselves
The final balance must be paid 48 hours prior to delivery (credit card subject to 3% interest charge on balance payments) or by Bank CHAPS Transfer . In all cases cleared funds must be received 48 hours prior to delivery for the vehicle to be delivered on the arranged delivery date. Any funds due that are not received 48 hours prior to delivery will mean the delivery date will have to be postponed and a new date requested from the Manufacturer. Should this happen then VanBrands can not guarantee that delivery will take place the next day after the previously scheduled delivery. Vanbrands will be in the hands of the Manufacturer to issue a new delivery date.
If you fail to take and pay for the goods within the required period of notification that the goods are available for delivery, we may treat the contract as cancelled and keep any deposit paid by you.

For vehicles being delivered to the customer payment by cleared fund must be received 48 hours prior to delivery so that the delivery can be confirmed with the dealer or manufacturer.
Our standard deposit is £500.00 per vehicle or £1,000.00 on higher value or collection vehicles. All manufacturers’ options must be paid for in advance with the initial deposit. VanBrandsDirect reserve the right to increase the deposit if a non standard vehicle is ordered (i.e. unusual colours or specifications.). All deposits both standard & non standard are non refundable if you decide not to proceed with the vehicle once the vehicle order has been placed. If the details of the vehicle ordered are changed in anyway by ourselves then the customer has the right to a full refund of monies given to VanBrands should you decide not to proceed. If the customer is using our finance company then deposits will not be taken until finance has been approved. The customer shall agree to proceed with the order of the vehicle and the terms and conditions that apply as detailed on this page under the ‘FrequentlyaskedQuestions‘ by payment of a deposit whether this is by card payment or bank transfer.
All our vehicles receive a full pre-delivery inspection and a full valet by the manufacturer before delivery . You will receive the vehicle in new condition but depending on the weather some vehicles can some times show signs of motorway driving and spray which is unavoidable. On arrival you can inspect the vehicle and point any issues you have with the delivery driver. Any problems you have need to be noted with the delivery driver and marked on the delivery sheet that comes back to us. Any issues you may have will be dealt with as quickly as possible as long as they are detailed on the delivery note by you or the driver. Any problems mentioned after delivery will be at the discretion of the supplying dealer after they have looked into the issue.
No. All our vehicles are pre–registered by our suppliers or ourselves but you will be the first person to drive the vehicle after delivery. Log books may be forwarded to you after 9 months depending on the Manufacturer however most V5C documents can take between 9/11 months before you receive them, We will forward these to you in good time to tax the vehicle when this becomes due. Road tax is no longer transferable from one owner to the next so we don’t change the name on the log book until the month prior to the tax being due so that DVLA do not cancel the tax on your vehicle mid way through the tax period. Any requests to do this would mean the vehicle would then require tax mid term at additional expense to you which we always try to avoid. If prior to ordering the vehicle you have any questions regarding the V5 then please contact us and we will be more than happy to clarify for you. The V5 document states on the front cover ”This Document is not proof of ownership” so not having this document immediately does not effect your ownership of the vehicle.
Customers wishing to add personal number plates to vehicles can contact our office as with a copy of your number plate retention certificate from DVLA we can do this online for you quite quickly.
Either contact us and we will put you in touch with your nearest main dealer as the vehicle will be covered by the Manufacturer warranty or contact your local franchised dealer yourself quoting your registration number & they will assist you direct under the Manufacturers warranty. Anything outside of this please contact us and we will do our very best to assist you or point you in the right direction.
Vanbrands do not supply hire or couresy vehicles. If your vehicle requires work from a Franchised dealer under the Manufacturers warranty then any coutesy vehicle or loan vehicle that you may require whilst work is being carried out on your vehicle is subject to availability from your chosen dealer.
We will try to ensure delivery of the goods (“goods” in these Terms and Conditions is defined as our sales to you) by the estimated delivery date (if any) but cannot guarantee the delivery date. Except where delay is caused by circumstances beyond our control you will be entitled to cancel the contract and receive repayment of your deposit if delivery has not taken place within 28 days of the estimated delivery date unless you have agreed otherwise, orally or in writing to accept late delivery. Where delay is caused by circumstances beyond our control we will not be liable for any damages related to the delay.
All vans supplied by VanBrands Direct are supplied to the manufacturer’s model specification. We cannot be held responsible for any changes in the manufacturer’s model specification. Although we will endeavour to inform you of the specification on our website please check on the manufacturer’s website for the exact specification of your model of van as small changes may not always be updated straight away to reflect the new speification.
Finance documents are a legally binding agreement and failure to keep up the payments on such an agreement could result in prosecution and or the vehicle being repossessed by the finance company. It is imperative therefore that before entering into any finance agreement that you take care to fully understand the type of agreement that you have and the terms and conitions that surround it. VanBrands will explain the mechanics of the different agreements and how they work but it is also the responsibility of the individual to take further advice from either the Finance Company or their own leagal representaitve should they be in any doubt as to what they are signing for or doubt as to how the agreement effects them both during the agreement and at the end.
Some finance agreements such as Finance Lease & Contract Hire mean that the customer will never have ownership of the vehicle just have use of the vehicle during the leasing period undertaken and are treated differently to each other at the end of the period of the agreement. Some Leasing agreements can have maintenance attached to them for the period of the agreement for an additional charge but standard agreements do not, so advice will need to be taken before signing an agreement if you are in any doubt as to what you are signing for.
