Once the vehicle order has been processed and you have paid the necessary deposit the vehicle will be ordered by us from the Manufacturer. At this point the deposit would become none refundable as VanBrands will now be committed to the vehicle and it would have to be taken into our stock to resell. Should finance have been arranged by us then any cancellation charges from the finance company would be the customer responsibility to pay
Arrange to have your vehicle driven to either your home or work address.
If you wish to have your vehicle transported this can be arranged if requested at the time of order. The charge for this would depend on the delivery location.
If you fail to take and pay for the goods within the required period of notification that the goods are available for delivery, we may treat the contract as cancelled and keep any deposit paid by you.
All figures quoted on our website are exclusive of VAT, 12 months road Tax & Government First registration fee (£55.00)
For vehicles being delivered to the customer payment by cleared fund must be received 48 hours prior to delivery so that the delivery can be confirmed with the dealer or manufacturer.
Any finance deposits (Typically VAT & RFL) will be taken from the same card as the initial £750.00 deposit unless you advise us differently. This payment is usually taken prior to delivery but on finance agreements this can be after delivery on some occasions. It is the responsibility of the customer to make sure funds are available for the deposit payments due to avoid late cancellation of delivery or in some cases unexpected account charges.
Customers wishing to add personal number plates to vehicles can contact our office as with a copy of your number plate retention certificate from DVLA we can do this online for you quite quickly.
Vehicle Conversions
Any vehicle that is converted within the first 12 months to a Motorhome/Horsebox etc, the customer will need to supply us with the details of the conversion along with pictures on the form that can be obtained from us. On receipt of this information we ourselves will notify DVLA who will be able to amend the classification of the vehicle to it’s new status. The new V5 document will then be forwarded to you when the vehicle is due to be taxed again as per the details above. The V5 document will only be changed into your name and forwarded to you and the end of the first 12 months.
We cannot except any responsibility for expenses incurred due to the none arrival of a vehicle on a given date. Deliveries are by an outside agent so is completely out of our control.
Any delivery requested over a 50 miles radious to Warrington will be chargeable. A price for this will be shown on the sales invoice once we have the delivery postcode.
Some finance agreements such as Finance Lease & Contract Hire mean that the customer will never have ownership of the vehicle just have use of the vehicle during the leasing period undertaken and are treated differently to each other at the end of the period of the agreement. Some Leasing agreements can have maintenance attached to them for the period of the agreement for an additional charge but standard agreements do not, so advice will need to be taken before signing an agreement if you are in any doubt as to what you are signing for.
